tatra tadā rājan hariṇī pipāsayā jalāśayābhyāśam ekaivopajagāma.

Synonyms

tatra—on the bank of the river; tadā—at the time; rājan—O King; hariṇī—a doe; pipāsayā—because of thirst; jalāśaya-abhyasam—near the river; eka—one; eva—certainly; upajagāma—arrived. 

Translation

O King, while Bharata Mahārāja was sitting on the bank of that river, a doe, being very thirsty, came there to drink.
