śrī-nārada uvāca
jīvātman paśya bhadraṁ te
mātaraṁ pitaraṁ ca te
suhṛdo bāndhavās taptāḥ
śucā tvat-kṛtayā bhṛśam
Synonyms
sri-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada Muni said; jīva-ātman—O living entity; paśya—just see; bhadram—good fortune; te—unto you; mātaram—the mother; pitaram—the father; ca—and; te—of you; suhṛdaḥ—friends; bandhavah—relatives; taptah—aggrieved; suca—by lamentation; tvat-kṛtayā—because of you; bhṛśam—very greatly. ¶
Translation
Śrī Nārada Muni said: O living entity, all good fortune unto you. Just see your father and mother. All your friends and relatives are overwhelmed with grief because of your passing away. ¶
